This term one of my favorite subjects are English 2 and Human Biology. Our English teacher keeps things relevant and current which makes it exciting. For example, we are reading a spooky Stephen King novel as it’s October and Halloween. The best part about going to college is meeting new people, and improving myself everyday. I initially struggled but after the first few months my grades improved tremendously and I started spending time doing things I enjoy. RTE made a difference by providing the proper resources and mentorship allowing me to pursue the rightful college bachelor degree. It helped me by always providing a supportive network, with my mentor John Fitton always checking up on me and guiding me through my post-Paly plans. John helped me in the process of getting to college by meeting in-person and discussing my personal goals, future plans and ambitions. John ensured I had everything I needed to make my college dreams come true. RTE has helped me get to college not only with mentorship and guidance but with amazing financial aid support which is vital in my college expenses and education purpose. Allowing me to have access to textbooks, on-campus housing, and living situations. After college I’d like to be a history-social studies teacher and educate the future high school students, spreading my passion for teaching. RTE is a great scholarship to apply for, as you feel part of a community of helpful support. I would urge all eligible students to apply. I personally really enjoy being part of RTE and would recommend you to join Rise Together Education too. Thank you so much for everything RTE has done for me. I really appreciate it |
