San Francisco State University, Paly Class of 2016
I wish to continue my education after High School because both my parents weren’t able to go to college for various reasons. If my parents wanted one thing from me, it would have to be them wanting me to go to college. Since I was a little kid, that is all they would tell me and it has always been in my head. Being the first in my family to go to college means a lot to me because many jobs look for those with a college diploma, and hopefully I will love my job. Not having a college education makes it harder for those to get a good job that pays well and for you to be happy with the job for the rest of your life. Going to college will also allow me to meet people from around the world that have the same interests as I do. I also have a younger sister that looks up to me, so for her to see me go to college would mean the world to me because she has the capability to be a very gifted student, which will lead her to go to a great college as well. What I hope to achieve when I’m in college is to find a major I truly love so that I won’t have to be in that boat of students who are still undecided a few years into their college experience. If everything goes the way I want it to, then I should have a very fun and successful college life.
