​The scholarship has completely helped me in so many ways. To name only a few, I will begin by simply pointing the obvious one which is how it is helping me financially by having this extra amount of money.  I have more time to focus on my academics and therefore work 5 hours less per week this semester. That has been amazing given the fact that I am a student athlete and do not have to stress 24/7!

​This year my family was fortunate enough to focus on me financially less, making life for my younger siblings at home less stressful and having the ability to access a greater field of the future by not having money consistently holding them back from ahieving and seeing new things. These are just a few reasons why I am thankful for RTE and their financial supports as well as the connections we continue to have and build upon.
