Elena Salvatierra
2026-2027 Student Representative
Elena Salvatierra is a junior at Palo Alto High School with a strong interest in community advocacy and mental health awareness. She serves as a leader of Bring Change to Mind, where she works to reduce stigma and promote open conversations around mental health on campus. She is passionate about education equity and is excited to support and uplift students through Rise Together Education.

Mackenzie Lew
2026-2027 Student Representative
Mackenzie is in the Class of 2028 at Paly. Most of her time outside of class is spent figure skating or reading. When she isn’t at the rink or in the library, she’s usually hanging out with her friends or getting food at town and country. She’s interested in helping more students at Paly get connected with resources like mentorship through Rise Together Education, and she joined the team to help make those opportunities more accessible to everyone on campus.

Lorelei Kardwell
2026-2027 Student Representative
Lorelei Kardwell is in the Class of 2027. She is a competitive volleyball player and participates in the Social Justice Pathway, where she explores issues of equity and advocacy. Outside of school, she volunteers at the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop, supporting cancer research through community service. Lorelei is passionate about making a positive impact in her community and hopes to continue her involvement in social justice and service in the future.

Ethan Bradley
2025-2027 Student Representative
​Ethan Bradley is in the Class of 2028. He likes studying language and linguistics, and is a member of the Paly debate team and Verde Magazine. He also enjoys volunteering with kids with special needs through the Bay Area Friendship Circle. He feels strongly that all kids, regardless of background and differences, should thrive in Palo Alto schools.

Samanvika Senthi Kumar
2026-2027 Student Representative
Samanvika loves filmmaking, journalism, and music production, and has worked on everything from directing films to editing and production. She is especially interested in storytelling that goes beyond entertainment and highlights real issues to bring awareness. Samanvika is also interested in the fashion business + design, singing, skateboarding, and exploring more hobbies and places. She is passionate about using storytelling and teamwork to amplify underrepresented voices and cares about making opportunities accessible for all students.
