You will receive a confirmation email from RTE with the address of the private home where the class will be held. When: Sunday, October 30, 2022 Time: Noon to 3 pm Where: Private home in Palo Alto Minimum suggested donation: $150 per person Need to spice up your dinner repertoire? Can’t take any more In & Out? In one afternoon, you will learn how to create THREE flavorful and healthy stand alone Thai dishes* and ONE simple dessert that you can easily make at home. This class is taught by RTE Board Member Tida Violante who was born and raised in Bangkok and has spent the past four decades perfecting her own Thai cooking while learning from masters in Thailand. No cooking experience necessary 👩🏽🍳but tolerance of spicy food is required for your enjoyment 😁 Learn how to make: 1. Larb (minced pork/chicken salad with lime) and sticky rice 2. Pad Prik Khing (dry curry stir fried with string beans) 3. Khao Soi (egg noodle served in Northern style chicken curry broth) 4. Gluay Buat Shee (bananas in coconut milk) *Not suitable for those who are allergiec to fish sauce or coconut A bag of essential Thai ingredients and recipes will be provided for you to take home so you can start cooking Thai food in your own kitchen right away! For everyone’s safety, each participant will be required to do a Covid test the morning of the class prior to coming to the kitchen and show the result to the organizer. A mask covering your mouth and nose is required while not eating. Rise Together Education is a non profit all volunteer organization with the mission of increasing college degrees in low income Paly graduates. We provide mentorship and scholarships to low to students. Currently, with your financial gift, we are supporting 56 college students! |
